Cost recipes. Price smarter. Protect your margins.
Dishboard helps food businesses know true dish costs, see gross profit instantly, and protect margins across dine-in and delivery.
Dishboard is free to use. Every feature included, no card required.
Built for small food businesses. Your recipes and costs are private to your account.

See it in 1:10.
You know what you charge for every plate that leaves your pass. The one number you cannot see from there is what each of them costs you to make, and it does not hold still.

Paste a recipe. Dishboard reads it.
No retyping ingredients one at a time. Paste what you already have, cups and spoons convert to real weights, and anything that needs a decision is flagged, never guessed.

One ingredient per line, the way a recipe already reads. No retyping, no reformatting into a spreadsheet first.

A Chicken Sandwich. Real numbers.
Add your ingredients and a price. Dishboard works out what the dish really costs, whether that price hits your target, and what to charge if it does not.

This sandwich is priced below what its real cost says it should be. Cost includes the $0.15 box, because this shop boxes every sandwich.
Uber Eats $2.44, Grubhub $2.30. After commission and the delivery packaging each channel adds on top, before labour, rent and overhead.

Common questions
Is Dishboard really free?▾
Yes. Every feature is free for everyone, with no plan limits and no card required.
Is Dishboard a POS or inventory system?▾
No. It is a calm workspace for recipe costing and menu margins. We deliberately leave POS, inventory deduction, and accounting to other tools.
What if I just want to organize my recipes?▾
That works too. You can keep recipe cards and prep recipes without ever entering a price, and add costs later when you are ready.
Can I include packaging and delivery fees?▾
Yes. Packaging can be part of the recipe cost, and delivery channels can include commission, payment fees, fixed fees, discounts, and partner-specific assumptions.
Can I import my ingredient spreadsheet?▾
Yes. You can import ingredients and supplies from CSV, then use those costs inside menu items.
Do you handle yield and waste?▾
Yes. Set a yield % on raw ingredients and prep recipes use real output yield to cost what actually goes in.
Can I print Recipe Cards for staff?▾
Yes. Recipe Cards hide costs by default. Owners can also export a Costing Sheet that includes costs, margins, and suggested prices.
